It was a quiet week on the news front for the New Orleans Saints, with the biggest headline being the retirement of Terron Armstead, who spent the past three seasons with the Dolphins. Jeff Nowak and Steve Geller kick off today’s episode by reflecting on Armstead’s elite time with the Saints, then break down the team’s top 30 visits this offseason and the prospects to watch as the 2025 draft gets closer and closer.

The mission was simple: ID the star the Saints should be going after and find a trade up to go get him. Steve Geller found it here in this 1-round mock draft with a significant move up the board to get arguably the best player in this year’s class in the top five, but what did it take to get done? Let’s break it down.

This mission was a bit less simple: Find a trade back scenario that nets extra assets to restock the cupboard at key spots. Jeff found it with the Dolphins at 13, upgrading a future pick and adding another third-rounder to this year’s stockpile. But what were the results? Jeff addresses edge rusher, wide receiver, defensive tackle, quarterback and running back, covering a TON of bases in this three-round mock.
